Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioural transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. Whether the time we spend together is in your own home, at The Light House or over a Skype or FaceTime call, you will discover that things can quickly begin to feel very different. Those feelings could be emotions... physical conditions that are stress-related (or made worse by stress), or painful memories. You might find yourself feeling down or maybe getting wound up by things you can't do much about?
One to one treatment
In an individual session, after agreeing how we'll work together and discussing what you'd like to achieve, you may have little need to talk at all (unless you want to).
Unlike traditional 'talking' therapies, the methods I use do not need me to understand or even know what your issue is. People tell me that's very liberating as often they are seeing me after many other attempts to feel differently - they've talked it endlessly and yet it's still there!

If your body is fighting against something in your diet it can be hard to know what the culprit is - eliminating whole food groups is a huge commitment and often unnecessary.
You might be very surprised at what your body says it wants.
In this 60 minute session we non-invasively test your body's response to up to 100 different items of food and drink. If it's in your cupboard we'll test it. Your body gives a definitive YES or NO to each item, it couldn't be clearer.

In normal conditions, unless you’re going through prolonged treatment for a health condition or are pregnant, then needle phobia is unlikely to have any acute impact on your life. But we know that the timetable for administering Covid vaccines has already begun and it is only a matter of time before you, along with everyone else, will be given the opportunity to protect yourself against this pernicious virus.
Ask yourself whether your fear of needles is so debilitating that you may refuse the offer of a vaccine that you might otherwise welcome. If it is, then you could consider booking a one to one ‘Free Yourself from Fear of Needles’ session with me. In these 90 minute appointments , I use a number of therapies in combination, including the CBT approach favoured by the NHS. You will also receive audio therapy to listen to at home to re-inforce the work we’ll do together.
